I’m Marie-Claire and I’m so glad you found me.

I’m an independent celebrant based in the beautiful town of St Ives, Cornwall – though I’ll travel anywhere for love.

My journey began when two dear friends asked me to officiate their wedding. Standing beside them on one of the most meaningful days of their lives was an incredible honour - an experience that I will always treasure. I knew then that I wanted to become a celebrant - to work in such a joyful environment with people as they celebrate life’s important moments.

When I first , what struck me is that so many couples are tired of traditional ceremonies. So, Willow & Wild Weddings was born.

No two love stories are the same, so why should your ceremony be? Each ceremony I create is bespoke - crafted with care, heart and intention. Whether you're dreaming of something relaxed and informal, wildly romantic, or a little bit unconventional, I’ll work closely with you to shape a ceremony that feels personal, meaningful and unmistakably you.

A wedding celebrant works with you to create and deliver a personalised wedding ceremony. Celebrants can offer flexibility beyond cultural and religious norms. Your ceremony will be written to reflect your values and beliefs and will be centred around your unique partnership.

What is a wedding celebrant?

We can incorporate anything you like, including personalised vows, rituals, guest interaction, readings, music, moments of reflection & storytelling. It’s your day; you make the rules!
